button_clips1 Hiya!  By now I hope you’ve enjoyed my previous posts in the easy preschool children craft ideas series.  If you’ve missed them, be sure to catch these fun projects here – #1 Pressed Flower Picture, #2 Quick Stamp Magnets and #3 Pasta Jewelry.  Today we’ll explore our fourth project – Botton Clips.  This is along the concept as the Stamp Magnets – your kids will enjoy turning ordinary paper or hair pins into objects of desire by decorating them with cute buttons.  These clips are fun to make and great to give away as small party favors.

Button Clips supplies:

  1. Paper clips in different sizes.  The large ones are good for bookmarks.  Alternatively, you can also use hair clips or hair pins.
  2. A collection of buttons – Choose various styles from your stash of buttons or find vintage ones at a thrift store.
  3. Glue

Button Clips instructions:

  1. Glue the buttons onto the clips.
  2. Let them dry out
  3. Admire. :)

As usual, here are some photos of button clips around the web for your inspiration:
