Quick Stamp Magnets: Part 2 of Preschool Children Craft Ideas

I hope you’ve enjoyed my previous post on pressed flower picture.  Today I’ll continue onto the second in the easy preschool children craft ideas series with a new project – Stamp Magnets.  This project is as simple (and quick) as it gets.  These magnets are fun to create and make an attractive gift if you create a set of them under a theme.

Let’s get started!

Quick Stamp Magnet supplies:

  1. Stamps – this is a good opportunity to use up old stamps.  If you don’t have stamps around, you can use stickers, wallet-sized photos, cut-out images from gift wrap or magazines, etc.
  2. Magnetic strips – a good choice is those business card magnets.  You can find them at most office supply stores.

Quick Stamp Magnet instructions:

  1. Select the stamp you want and attach it to the magnetic strips (use glue to attach if your stamp is not self-sticking).  If you’re using the business card magnets, you can probably fit up to 6 stamps per business card.
  2. Carefully cut the magnets along the shape of your stamps.

That’s it!  Here are some photos of stamp magnets for your inspiration!

This is the second of five preschool children craft ideas brought to you by Kid-Craft-Project.com.  If you liked what you’ve read, you can read more about easy preschool craft ideas at Kid Craft Project.  In the next few blog posts, I’ll show you how to make pretty button clips, adorable cat toys and beautiful beach treasure pendants!
