personalized_goblet2 A goblet is not just for wizards.  In fact, ordinary people can find many uses with a goblet. You can drink from it. You can serve ice cream from it. You can store jewelry in it. You can hold potpourri with it. You can even just own it simply for the fact that it’s a fun word to say. Goblet. Repeat after me.  Really, it’s a cool word.

But you know what makes a goblet even more awesome?  A personalized goblet.  This is a project you’ll want to get your kids involved.  They’ll have a blast personalizing their own goblets.

Personalized Goblet Material:

1 plastic goblet. (Try a party supply st0re)

Multipurpose glue

Paint pens or acrylic paint and thin brush

Things to decorate the goblet with such as sequins, beads, pipe cleaners, buttons, ribbons, glitter and silk flowers

Personalized Goblet Instructions:

  1. With the paint pen or brush, have your kids write their own names on the goblet.
  2. Using the multipurpose glue, start gluing the decorative items to the cup. You can wrap a ribbon or pipe cleaner around the stem. Add bows and buttons. Make a felted flower with felt and buttons and glue onto the ribbon. Line the rim with beads.

Bonus idea: Make a few of the goblets and use each one to store little things like hairclips, earrings, necklaces and barrettes.  Write down what you want to store on the goblet itself and watch how easy it is to keep your wardrobe organized.
