Fabulous Children Craft Activities
A craft party is a great way for your children to celebrate important days of their lives with their friends and family. You don’t need to spend a lot of money on lavish birthday parties for your kids to have fun. The most ingredients are your children, some friends, a good supply of activities, fun foods and craft projects!
To help you get some creative juices flowing, here are some great ideas.
Craft Party Ideas:
- Movie Craft Party. Plan a birthday party based on your children’s favorite movies. For examples, you can have a Harry Potter themed party. Decorate your house with a poster for each main character, play hide and seek by planting different Horcruxes around the house and giving a prize to children who find them. For nourishment, drink butterbeer and feast on treacle pudding.
- Make-a-Bear Tea Party. Have your children make personalized invitations with scrapbook supplies. At the party, have each kid make a customized homemade bear. Depending on the age of the kids, you may need to do some pre-party work first. Make bear shapes out of felt and sew them together, leaving only a small opening for stuffing. At the party, have the kids stuff the bear themselves and decorate the bear with buttons, felt pockets, bandana (made from fabric scraps), etc. The adults may need to help sew the small opening together to finish off the bear. Serve cupcakes, little tea sandwiches and ginger iced tea.
- Girl’s Spa Pamper Party. This idea is especially great for girls. They will enjoy making all kinds of spa products (lotion, lip balm, bubble bath, potpourri and more) together and taking some home to pamper themselves. Receipes for 126 spa products are available for download (with a small fee). After the spa treatments, it’s time to bake perfect brownies!
I hope these ideas have sparked some more ideas for your kid’s next birthday party.
